Past and current CCAC students: is it very difficult to have credits from a four-year institution accepted as transfers?

I'm finishing my BA at Pitt this year but considering applying to the Medical Insurance Specialist program. I'd like to get an idea of whether I could be exempted from non-essential courses.

Question: Is there anywhere around here to take a summer language course for a reasonable price, other than BC3 and CCAC? I don't need the college credit, and don't want to pay the college credit prices! BC3 would be ideal, location-wise, but they don't seem to have any summer courses listed (yet). I'm thinking of taking the non-credit communtiy class to strenghten my ability. However, there's no placement test. Has anyone done this for Spanish or any other lanaguage. I've taken only a semester of Spanish, but at Pitt whose program is super strong. I pick up languages muy rapido and I speak very strong French, which helps me learn Spanish ( Read more... )
